Make Sunsets Monthly: Landing

Make Sunsets Monthly: Landing

[We originally sent the following to our mailing list subscribers 12/31/24. Added to website 1/6/25.]

Revenue: $11,395
Burn: $35,800
Cash: $996,117
Runway: ~22 months

With a lot of help from our friend Tom (one of the best people in the world to help make complicated things fly) we repeatedly dropped these planes from a quadcopter:

Here's one of several automated landings:

This is *very* close to getting our balloon's telemetry to return to us, which will further reduce cost and may be useful to other companies (+ provide amazing videos of Cooling Credits being delivered!)

Although the $100K deal we anticipated this month hasn’t closed yet, it’s still very much alive—and we’ve added another $30K to the sales pipeline. On a bright note, we wrapped up Q4 strong with $34,692 in sales, a 34% growth from Q3’s $25,709. Looking at the bigger picture, 2024's total sales reaching $99,331.

In 2024, our customers offset the warming equivalent of 85,486 tons of CO₂ for one year. This is over twice the annual emissions of Kiribati. Thank you for helping us cool Earth!

Next month, we will:
Land at a predefined point after traveling to the stratosphere, twice... By 2026, we will catch a payload from the stratosphere with our bare hands;)
$40,000 in sales

Excited to fly much more than we did in 2024,
Andrew and Luke
