Hello from Dayton, Ohio in our newest popup field lab (aka cheap hotel room):

I'm here to finish and fly a *very* rough entry in a DARPA challenge... including fabricating new battery packs because I couldn't ship them. I'll be thrilled if it flies with full payload and hope to find new collaborators among other entrants. Of course, I'll be pitching anyone who will listen on the importance of using solar geoengineering to win the war on global warming;)

This month was a ton of time fabricating this drone. I learned a lot about working with carbon fiber, fiberglass, foam wing carving, and other things that will facilitate broader flying stuff... some of which will provide cooling.

On ads: not breakeven yet, but progress. Exciting to have dollars in = sales out.

This month we will:
-Finish this drone, and get it lifting!
-Add a bunch of video content to the paid marketing. What do you think would help convince potential Coolers?
-Engage on socials, sharing more about the messy details of making... and countering some of the wishful thinking around decarbonization. 

The Wright brothers are from here. Learning about their successes and failures is inspiring. How lucky are we to get to be some of the first to Cool Earth?!
