While we didn't get invited to Chair Greene's hearing on weather modification, she did read sections of our Frequently Asked Questions into the record. Perhaps she can get in touch with further questions? Surely she's not just grandstanding... right? As always, we're ready to explain what we do (and why) to anyone willing to listen... even Congresspersons!
More important than political positioning, we've got balloons and planes to launch. The balloons went well: we caught up fully on Cooling Credit deployments. Planes were a partial win: 2 returned to home, from 12 and 14km. Higher and more this month... with better camera mounts, as our footage flew away in the turbulence.
We fell short of our sales goal this month, but we have some deals pending that will make up for it to end the year. Andrew launched balloons with 100+ Y Combinator founders, several of whom will be new customers.
Also, we bought a launch site! 40 acres of middle-of-nowhere will serve as our first testing ground for local cooling and Other Special Projects. Consider this your invitation to test your own weirdness there, too.
This month, we will:
-Achieve $15k in sales
-Complete 3x return-to-home flights from the stratosphere, sharing video from each
-Test localized cooling
